During my first trip to Pakistan in 2009, I was inspired by Pakistani buses and their windows, which I see as reflections of everyday life in Pakistan, beyond politics. I began this project in 2009 and completed it in 2011, during my second trip to Karachi for a residency at Vasl Artists’ Association. Each work is a collage combining a Pakistani bus window with the portrait of a well-known Pakistani politician.

The project features twelve archival pigment prints (digital collage), 25 × 25 cm.
